1. Start by figuring out what is going
on in the drawing/photo/painting. Who are these people
and what is their story? Try to identify colonists or
British subjects. What important event do you think was
the impetus for this piece? Have one member of your group
act as scribe to keep track of the
questions
explored
by your group.
Continue interpreting the picture until I instruct you
to move on to the next task.
2.What are the traits of a
good title? Make a list of traits and then brainstorm
12-15 possible titles before
picking the best one. Once you have a good understanding
of the picture/painting/drawing , select a title that
captures the key “story” behind
this object. Be prepared to share your favorite title
with the group with an explanation of why you chose
that title.
3. Your teacher will assign your group
one of the topics for in depth research. You are to provide
the details and background associated with the event
the picture depicts. Use WebBlender to publish your results
and present them to the class.
You will be provided a
research link to assist with this
task. Your project will be evaluated in accordance
with this rubric.
Please plan your publication using this storyboard.
